This is a great yellow and brown spongeware stoneware butter crock with original lid in the Bennington style. The crock measures 5" in height by 6 1/2" in diameter. The crock has great embossing of birds and urns all around the body of the crock. Condition is excellent with a couple of minor chips on the rim and normal crazing to the glaze.
